the rent, the landlady and the dog

Ate Cora (ang aking landlady): Ang renta mo ay 1,500 kasama na ang tubig. Poochy no, May sarili kang kuntador para sa ilaw. Magtipid ka kasi alam ko maliit lang suweldo mo, Poochy no,para hindi ka maputulan ng ilaw.Magbayad ka ontime kasi ang renta mo para sa aso namin, etong si Poochy. Poochy no sabi! Paki pasok nga ang sapatos mo, inaamoy ni Poochy, baka malason. Poochy no! Pag may tira kang pagkain wag mong pakainin si Poochy kasi
KFC ang ulam niya (the what? come again?). Bawal ang malakas na TV or sounds kasi baka hindi makatulog si Poochy. Sentitibo yan. Diba Poochy Poochy ko, my love Poochy Poochy! (tapos kiss and hug sa aso na hindi naman CPA pero KFC ang ulam everyday). O cya, alis muna kami, mahaba na kuku ni Poochy, cut muna namin. Come Poochy Poochy.

And the dog is really huge! Kaya hindi ako nagsasalita baka kainin ako nang buhay.
After few months with the fact na mahal ang pagkain ni Poochy, I began to realize na kaya pala ganun nila kamahal si Poochy kasi si Ate Cora is not married and has no one to love but her oversized dog. I did't wonder anymore. In fact I admired her love for her dog. Pero KFC? One lucky son of a dog.
